LMAO! I think Ron did the sensible thing, calling it a day. Got a great voice, but looked a bit out-of-place.
I remember an interview with him and Stevie Blaze on Raw Power, when they toured with Poetic Justice. He made some comment about being not just another hair band. Not a truer word spoken, lol. Incidentally, the live footage from the Marquee for that article, I can be seen centre-stage, about 4 people deep from the front, flinging my hair, which I had at the time, lol.
Not another hair band, as in not another hair
left. Poor bastard. His hair circa 'LaW' was
legendarily large.
I've got a Noisy Mothers with 'Innocence'
live at that Marquee show somewhere.

If Steevi comes back sounding like that piss ass EP, and the Kim version comes back sounding like teh Berzerk era, I don't care if Steevi looks like the greatest band in the world, and Kim looks like fucking Slipknot, I'm going with Kim's version.
I think a BIG part of the reason that the look doesn't matter with me at all, especially in the case of Tailz, is that I never saw them live, so the look never meant a damn thing to me anyways. Think about it, take a Glam band that you NEVER saw live in the first place, so why would you care about how they looked? How many bands have you heard, but never saw? I never saw Faces live, so I really don't care how they looked. Many bands I love, I never saw live, so why should I care about how they looked on stage?
Heck, I think I would laugh my ass off if Tailz took the stage TRYING to look as they did. Sorry kids, but when Glammies try looking Glam still later in life, they start looking like a bunch of old bar whores.
I actually wanted to name a band "The Bar Whores" after deciding that is what most old Glams look like.
Raw Power/Noisy Mothers, that's the one!
The only thing worth watching when getting home from the pub, after Get Stuffed!
Yeah, Innocence was the track featured in the interview. There I was, fat git near the front, haha. My hair looked strangely greasy, though I know it wasn't. Must've been the hot, sweaty conditions, lol
Talking of bar whores, Dee is the only one in Twisted Sister who can still get away with it. The others look like tranny grannies.
The line seperating self-parody and pulling off
(or putting on, as the case may be) the glam
image in later years is quite blurry. Maybe we
should design a 'Cool or Cock' website for aging
glammies. Mike Monroe is still in the Cool
folder; ditto, Billy Idol. As for Cock...
CC Deville? ... Sigue Sigue Sputnik? ... Steve
Summers?
Re Get Stuffed: there's a tasty (jaja, very
droll) little website out there about it, with
recipes etc. Fantastic show! Sunday lunch for
just 10p! LOL

Cool or Cock?
Like a glam Hot or Not?
Exactly!
I'd put Glitter in the Cock folder, but I'd hate
to put temptation in his path.

Edit: I've scribbled some bollox in my time,
but I've just realised how ludicrous
'I'd put Glitter in the Cock folder' sounds. LOL!
Best laugh I've had all day.

What score did you end up with D?
Oh mate, I totally missed the temptation thing, LMAO!
